The Rock Gets Matches Cut From WWE Show?

Brian Gerwitz has shot back at rumors that The Rock got matches cut from WWE SmackDown by going overtime.

The Rock’s current heel persona expertly merges aspects of his Hollywood image with the attitude he displayed during the late 90s, captivating fans with his captivating character. His revival of The Rock concert on the latest episode of SmackDown was a standout moment for audiences, as The Rock showed little concern for networks’ complaints about his use of profanity.

During the March 15 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Hollywood Rock made a triumphant return to the ring, thrilling the audience with his iconic theme music and expressing gratitude for Memphis, Tennessee.

Directly targeting Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, The Rock pulled no punches, even involving Rhodes’ mother and prominently featuring Stardust’s image on stage. He continued his momentum with scathing insults aimed at the “Cody Crybabies,” resonating with fans worldwide.

After the concert, The Great One shifted his focus to Rhodes’ recent actions, mocking his slap and ridiculing his interview with Michael Cole on Monday Night RAW, captivating the crowd with his charisma.

The Great One took to his Instagram and shared a video from his Rock Concert, quoting a controversial line from it, asserting his indifference towards networks or anyone else taking issue with his language.

“You sound like somebody the Rock can love – drunk and horny ”

“Networks and ‘standards & practices’ have issues with my language, but I’d rather be real than not. I talk from the heart, shoot from the hip and try to always have fun.”

“Enjoy the Rock concert ”
