Oh Ana, you’re such a delusional darling. Instead of showing a side-by-side photo, why don’t you show a side-by-side video? May I suggest your president’s brilliant bike riding abilities? Or perhaps when he fell over walking across a stage? Or maybe shaking hands with the air?
A recent report by Axios has brought attention to President Joe Biden’s treatment of his staff, shedding light on a promise he made on his inauguration day. Two and a half years ago, Biden addressed political appointees at a swearing-in ceremony, emphasizing that everyone in his administration is entitled to be treated with decency and dignity. He expressed concern that these qualities were lacking in the previous four years and warned that he would not tolerate disrespect or talking down to colleagues.
However, Axios has revealed that Biden’s behavior behind closed doors contradicts his promise of promoting decency in his administration. According to Axios reporter Alex Thompson, Biden has displayed a quick-trigger temper, causing some aides to avoid meeting with him alone. Some staff members even bring a colleague as a shield against potential outbursts. Thompson reports that Biden has been known to scream expletives and use aggressive language towards staff members who have displeased him.
Jeff Connaughton, a former Biden campaign and Senate aide, has characterized the president as an “egomaniacal autocrat” who manages his staff through fear.
The contrast between Biden’s expectations for his staff and his own behavior has not gone unnoticed by observers on social media, with many pointing out the discrepancy between his words and actions.
In addition to concerns about Biden’s treatment of staff, questions have also arisen regarding his failure to acknowledge one of his grandchildren, a four-year-old daughter of his son Hunter Biden. Neither Biden nor his son has met this grandchild, leading to speculation and scrutiny from the press.
