Triple H Canceled Match With Dead Star’s Brother

ECW legend Tommy Dreamer recently revealed a different outcome of a storyline that involved Triple H. Back in October 2002, WWE ran an angle HHH accused Kane of murdering a woman named Katie Vick when Kane was just starting out in wrestling. Kane had explained that Katie’s death came via a car accident in which Kane was driving. Triple H went on to show “footage” of “Kane” (Triple H dressed in a Kane mask) having “sex” with Katie’s “corpse.”

The payoff to the angle was Triple H doing a ventriloquist act with “Katie Vick” and Hurricane Helms showing footage of “Triple H” receiving a surgical enema where a sledgehammer was removed from his rearside. ‘The Game’ would then go on to feud with Shawn Michaels.

Tommy Dreamer says that was not the planned outcome

Tommy Dreamer on the House of Hardcore podcast stated that was not the original finish to the storyline. He revealed:

“The whole Katie Vick, narcolepsy [Necrophilia] angle, that all came about through Vince and the payoff of all that was going to be Sick Boy Scott Vick was going to wrestle Triple H at WrestleMania to avenge his sister, who was dead. That all came about when Sick Boy Scott Vick had a dark match tryout and Vince just liked the name Scott Vick because they couldn’t call him Sick Boy. This horrible angle with Kane and Triple H was going to be the caveat to headlining WrestleMania with Scott Vick avenging his sister Katie Vick. I remember Johnny [John Laurinaitis] having to tell Vince, ‘that’s great, but he’s not employed here.’ He was on a tryout. People have gotten hired on a lot weirder things but I think after that, it was just, ‘Oh,’ and we lost that amazing WrestleMania to avenge [Sick Boy’s] sister’s horrible degradation of her grave. That’s sometimes how these crazy things happen in WWE,”said Dreamer.

Triple H would wrestle Booker T at WrestleMania in 2003 while Kane was on the Sunday Night Heat pre-show, teaming with Rob Van Dam against Chief Morley and Lance Storm.

As for Sick Boy, he had wrestled in WCW and was part of Raven’s Flock. He wrestled three dark matches for WWE in 2002, including one against John Cena.
