WWE’s signature premium live event, WWE WrestleMania 38 is right around the corner and fans have been eagerly waiting to witness WWE Hall of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, who is set to go face to face with Kevin Owens on the ‘KO Show’ at the marquee event. It seems that he might be training as hard as he did when he was a full-time wrestler because he’s taking his WrestleMania return very seriously and has been undeniably training very hard to make this return a successful one.
It has been speculated that he might end up having a match with former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens. WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus seemingly dropped some hints about the in-ring return of ‘The Texas Rattlesnake.’
Trish Stratus opens up on the return of Steve Austin
Trish recently spoke to ET Canada about what it’s like training for a big return. She has had a series of WWE matches in 2018 and 2019 after her retirement. Ahead of hosting Road to WrestleMania live events in Kitchener and Toronto on March 26 and 27 respectively, Trish talked about the upcoming return of Austin. Here is what she said:
“Believe me, I’m sure ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin is going through this right now, when you get back in the ring after being away for so long, it’s nerve-wracking. You also know that you’ve left an impression on the fans’ minds of who you are and what you bring to the ring. To be able to live up to that.”
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently indicated that fans can expect a lot more than Austin hitting a stunner on Kevin Owens. It was reported that the WWE legend is in fantastic shape ahead of his impending return. WrestleMania 38 will take place on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3 from AT& T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
