Trump Attacks Female Governor For Calling Him Loser

According to Mediaite, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds (R) made headlines with her endorsement of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) for the 2024 election. Reynolds voiced her belief that former President Donald Trump wouldn’t be able to win the upcoming election, a statement that triggered a strong reaction from Trump himself.

Despite her influential status within the Republican Party, Reynolds faced criticism from Trump, who pointed out her unpopularity as indicated by a Morning Consult poll. Trump’s response to Reynolds’ endorsement of DeSantis emphasized DeSantis’s alleged negative stance on key issues and questioned Reynolds’ motivations for backing him.

In the aftermath of the endorsement, Trump took to Truth Social to criticize Reynolds, highlighting his past support for her political career and branding her endorsement of DeSantis as an act of disloyalty. He warned that her decision could mark the end of her political journey and suggested that neither she nor DeSantis would receive further support from the MAGA movement.

The ongoing feud between Reynolds and Trump underscores the internal divisions within the Republican Party, reflecting the complex dynamics at play in the lead-up to the 2024 election.

Donald Trump directed sharp criticism at Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds following her endorsement of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in the 2024 Republican primary. Reynolds had expressed doubt about Trump’s chances in the upcoming election, prompting her to throw her support behind DeSantis.

In response, Trump took to Truth Social to attack Reynolds, highlighting DeSantis’s alleged policy stances against key issues like Ethanol and Social Security, while labeling him as a “wounded bird falling from the sky.” Trump’s tirade against Reynolds extended to her perceived disloyalty, emphasizing his past support for her political career and accusing her of ingratitude.

Furthermore, Trump shared a poll that underscored Reynolds’ unpopularity, reinforcing his claims of disloyalty and questioning her motivations for backing DeSantis. He warned that her endorsement could mark the end of her political journey and that the MAGA movement would no longer support her, drawing parallels between Reynolds and DeSantis as “extremely disloyal” figures aligning together.

The heated exchange between Trump and Reynolds serves as a testament to the internal conflicts within the Republican Party, illustrating the complex dynamics of political allegiance and loyalty in the lead-up to the 2024 election.

“Do you believe Trump can’t win?” NBC correspondent Dasha Burns asked.

“Yeah,” Reynolds replied. “I believe he can’t win.”

Reynolds is no RINO. In a post on X, the platform previously known as Twitter, influential Iowa conservative thought leader Bob Vander Plaats called Reynolds “without question Iowa’s most popular Governor in generations.”

Trump, as you might expect, is trying to downplay both the impact of the governor’s endorsement and her overall popularity. In a blistering rant on Truth Social, the former president shared a recent Morning Consult poll which pegged Reynolds as the most unpopular governor in America — with 47 percent disapproval.

“Why would anybody endorse Ron DeSanctimonious, who is like a wounded bird falling from the sky?” Trump wrote. “His Poll numbers are terrible, he is totally against Ethanol, and fought to destroy Social Security and Medicare. Well, the “Nation’s most unpopular governor,” Kim Reynolds of Iowa, just endorsed him. What’s that all about?”
