During a press conference held on Wall Street in New York City, former President Trump addressed two major developments in the ongoing legal cases against him. Earlier in the day, Trump appeared in a Manhattan court for a hearing on the Stormy Daniels ‘hush payment’ case, which was scheduled for trial on April 15 by Judge Juan Merchan.
Simultaneously, a New York appellate court ruled that Trump could post a $175 million bond to cover Letitia James’ $464 million judgment against him within 10 days.
Trump characterized the legal proceedings as part of a “Biden trial” and accused the Biden administration of orchestrating a politically motivated attack against him. He labeled the situation as “election interference” and criticized the weaponization of the Department of Justice and FBI.
Regarding a question about his campaign spending, Trump sharply responded, “First of all, it’s none of your business!”
The press conference reflected Trump’s ongoing defiance and dismissal of the legal challenges he faces, portraying them as politically motivated attacks rather than legitimate legal proceedings.
