Trump Family Member Reveals His Mental Breakdown

Donald Trump’s niece, Mary Trump, has suggested that her uncle’s mental state is beginning to “fray at the edges” as the New York hush money trial against him commences.

Donald Trump is currently facing trial over alleged hush money payments made to Stormy Daniels during his 2016 presidential campaign. Mary Trump, a psychologist and outspoken critic of her uncle, shared her thoughts on her Substack regarding the trial’s first few days.

She noted that her uncle will have to spend at least four days a week and eight hours a day in the New York City courtroom. This lack of freedom, she believes, is difficult for him as he is used to controlling the narrative and proceedings.

Mary Trump described her uncle as someone who “doesn’t handle it well when he feels like the walls are closing in on him,” and that he becomes rude, weak, and unable to control himself in situations where he feels thwarted.

Mary also pointed out that none of the usual Trump family members had been present to support him during the trial, suggesting that this could be emotionally challenging for him.

In the trial, Trump is facing 34 felony counts related to hush money payments he allegedly made to cover up extramarital affairs. Jury selection began on April 15, and the process is ongoing. Trump has pleaded not guilty to the charges and called the proceedings a “political witch hunt” intended to benefit President Joe Biden in the 2024 election.
