Trump Lawyer Insults Kimberly Guilfoyle After Jail

According to Mediate, Michael Cohen, former attorney for Donald Trump and a convicted felon, has voiced his opinion on the former president’s decision not to cover legal fees for certain alleged co-conspirators involved in criminal cases against him. Cohen believes that Trump’s unwillingness to pay the legal bills of these individuals, including former Trump attorneys Jenna Ellis and Rudy Giuliani, is a strategic mistake that is harming his own interests.

Last week, Trump and 18 others were indicted in Fulton County, Georgia, for their alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in the state. Both Jenna Ellis and Rudy Giuliani were deeply involved in the post-election efforts to contest the election outcome. Ellis publicly expressed her dissatisfaction with the fact that Trump was not covering her legal expenses related to these matters.

On “The Source,” hosted by Kaitlan Collins, a social media post by Jenna Ellis was referenced. In the post, Ellis questioned why “MAGA, Inc.” was not funding the legal defense of everyone involved.

Cohen, in response to the situation, criticized Trump’s decision not to provide legal support to some of his alleged co-conspirators. He stated that Trump’s actions demonstrated a lack of understanding when it comes to financial matters and loyalty. Cohen emphasized that Trump should have learned by now that one should never throw their lawyer, doctor, or mechanic under the bus, as these individuals hold critical roles in a person’s life.

“What do you make of the fact that there are some people whose legal bills he covers, and other people like Jenna Ellis, who are upset that their bills aren’t being covered?” Collins asked.

Cohen responded:

There’s never a reason for Donald that you can actually isolate and say, why is he paying, well, you know, for Don Jr., right? Or Kimberly gargoyle [sic] But we don’t know as to why not for Jenna Ellis. Why not for Rudy Giuliani?

Donald’s an idiot. Let me just be very clear when it comes to paying money, he is truly an idiot. He has not learned yet that the last person you want– three people that you don’t want to throw under the bus like that: your lawyer, your doctor, and your mechanic. Because, one way or the other, you’re gonna go down the hill and there’ll be no brakes.

Cohen’s insight stems from his own experiences with Trump, and he expressed frustration with Trump’s inability to comprehend the importance of standing by those who serve essential roles, especially when legal and personal matters are at stake.
