Trump Official ‘Burned Evidence’ At White House

According to DailyMail, Cassidy Hutchinson, a former White House aide, has made additional claims in her upcoming memoir regarding her time as a top aide to then-Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. These claims include allegations that Meadows burned numerous documents during the waning days of the Trump administration, leading to concerns raised by his wife about the cost of dry-cleaning the lingering smell from his suits. Hutchinson previously testified in May 2022 that Meadows regularly tossed documents into his office fireplace during December 2020.

In her memoir, titled “Enough,” Hutchinson provides a more detailed account of her previous assertions and adds new ones, including claims that Meadows also refused to dispose of daily litter in government-sanctioned “burn bags” out of fear of interception by the “deep state.” Instead, he burned the documents in his own office, resulting in the unpleasant odor that concerned his wife.

The book also contains other sensational allegations, including accusations against Rudy Giuliani of groping Hutchinson on January 6 in a tent behind Trump’s speech before the Capitol riots broke out.

Hutchinson’s memoir is set to be released on Monday and is described as a recounting of her experience of “risking everything to tell the truth about some of the most powerful people in Washington.” Meadows and Giuliani have not commented on the allegations in the book, while Giuliani has dismissed them as “completely absurd.”

The book’s release comes as Meadows faces indictment for his alleged involvement in a conspiracy to overturn election results in Georgia, and Trump makes a third attempt for the presidency.
