Donald Trump is causing troubles to himself and his reputation. The recent situation is an indication of what went wrong on the former president’s end. He made a mistake and has to pay for it now in the form of a fine.
In case you missed it, Donald has a gag order on him that prevents him from using any word or share anything about Judge Arthur Engoron’s staff and his courtroom’s proceedings. The former president still went ahead and posted details on Truth Social and got himself into trouble.

He shared a post attacking the judge’s law clerk. It included her name and details of her personal Instagram account. Engoron got notified about it and Trump received a $5,000 fine on Friday for violating the gag order. Engoron fined him as the post remained on Trump’s campaign website for a time frame of two weeks following the order that restricted Trump from making such comments.
Trump is in New York where he has a civil suit against him, his company, and his adult sons. According to Mediaite, The suit brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James alleges that Trump inflated his assets for over a decade and committed a fraud.
Engoron has found Trump liable and now the proceedings are for the penalties. James wants a $250 million fine and a decision that bars Trump and his sons from doing business in the state of New York.

In case the decision comes in James’s favour then it would mean that Trump would have to dissolve his company. He would also be forced to sell his assets. Trump has been vocal about his displeasure towards the judges and other legal authorities. It needs to be seen on what happens next for the former president.
