On Wednesday, actress Kristen Stewart took to social media to criticize former President Donald Trump for his previous comments on social media in which he encouraged Robert Pattinson to “dump” her.
In an article published on Wednesday by Rolling Stone, Stewart discussed her 2017 comeback to Saturday Night Live, where she poked fun at President Trump.
Stewart said that she had stated, “He’s mad at me for cheating on my boyfriend?” in response to someone at SNL bringing up Trump’s posts.
The Twilight star then told Rolling Stone, “Of course he had to weigh in on my tarring and feathering. It’s like, ‘What is this 20-year-old who has no idea about life doing to this man?’”
She added, “He’s such a little baby,” before telling Trump, “Fuck you, bitch!”
Trump repeatedly weighed in on Stewart’s relationship with Pattinson in 2012 after it was revealed that Stewart had been having an affair with director Rupert Sanders.
“Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again–just watch. He can do much better!” wrote Trump in one October 2012 post.
In another, he added, “Everyone knows I am right that Robert Pattinson should dump Kristen Stewart. In a couple of years, he will thank me. Be smart, Robert.”
Stewart and Pattinson broke up just months later.
Stewart initially responded to Trump’s posts during her SNL monologue in 2017, declaring, “Donald, if you didn’t like me then, you’re probably really not going to like me now… because I’m hosting SNL and I’m, like, so gay, dude.”
