Trump Reveals Top Official Flipped To Jack Smith?

Former President Donald Trump vehemently refuted the recent ABC News report alleging that his former chief of staff, Mark Meadows, had entered into an immunity deal to testify before a grand jury regarding charges of election fraud. In response to the report by Jonathan Karl, which detailed Meadows’ supposed admission to special counsel Jack Smith’s team that the claims of significant voter fraud were baseless, Trump took to his preferred social media platform, Truth Social, to express his skepticism.

In his Truth Social post, Trump suggested that Meadows, in his view, was not the type to fabricate falsehoods in exchange for immunity, characterizing individuals who might do so as “weaklings and cowards” detrimental to the country’s future. Trump’s remarks implied that some individuals might be coerced into making deals under the threat of severe consequences, contrasting their cooperation with what he described as a relentless pursuit to vilify him.

Furthermore, Trump explicitly denied that Meadows had ever informed him that the allegations of significant fraud were baseless, countering the implications in the report. Notably, he also referenced Meadows’ book, implying that the purported revelations were not reflected in its content.

The implications of Trump’s remarks seemed to align with the ongoing narrative regarding the 2020 election and the persistent claims of electoral fraud. The former Attorney General Bill Barr’s prior public statements were cited as additional support for the argument that Trump was aware of the lack of substantial evidence but chose to perpetuate the narrative of fraud to contest the election results.

“I don’t think that Mark Meadows is one of them, but who really knows? ” Trump wrote:

I don’t think Mark Meadows would lie about the Rigged and Stollen 2020 Presidential Election merely for getting IMMUNITY against Prosecution (PERSECUTION!) by Deranged Prosecutor, Jack Smith. BUT, when you really think about it, after being hounded like a dog for three years, told you’ll be going to jail for the rest of your life, your money and your family will be forever gone, and we’re not at all interested in exposing those that did the RIGGING — If you say BAD THINGS about that terrible “MONSTER,” DONALD J. TRUMP, we won’t put you in prison, you can keep your family and your wealth, and, perhaps, if you can make up some really horrible “STUFF” a out him, we may very well erect a statue of you in the middle of our decaying and now very violent Capital, Washington, D.C. Some people would make that deal, but they are weaklings and cowards, and so bad for the future our Failing Nation. I don’t think that Mark Meadows is one of them, but who really knows? MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!

Mark Meadows NEVER told me that allegations of significant fraud (about the RIGGED Election!) were baseless. He certainly didn’t say that in his book!

The commentary on the implications of the gag order, as highlighted by Politico’s Kyle Cheney, indicated that Trump’s recent attack effectively violated the terms of the gag order, as it encompassed various topics explicitly prohibited by the court. As the legal proceedings continue, the complexity surrounding the events of the 2020 election and its aftermath remains a subject of intense public interest and scrutiny.
