Donald Trump injected some humor into his attendance at his friends’ lavish Mar-a-Lago wedding celebration by joking about divorce, according to a source exclusive to Page Six.
During Jarod and Alexa Malnik’s rehearsal dinner at Trump’s Palm Beach, Fla., estate, the former president quipped, “This is a great couple. Nobody gets divorced ever when they get married at Mar-a-Lago. People, 20 years later, say it’s the greatest marriage ever.”
Trump, who notably tied the knot with Melania Trump at Mar-a-Lago in 2005, posed for photos with the newlyweds and partook in their afterparty, where guests reportedly chanted his name with enthusiasm.
The bride, Alexa, dazzled in a custom Maria Farbinni gown and Rene Caovilla shoes, accessorizing with a family heirloom necklace passed down from her mother-in-law. Jarod opted for a custom Marzoni Italian fabric navy suit tailored by Chris Garabedian.
The wedding festivities continued with a grand reception featuring DJ Slim of Rock With U spinning tunes and delectable dishes like beef Wellington.
Following the extravagant affair, the newlyweds are reportedly planning a luxurious honeymoon, starting with a mini-moon at Mar-a-Lago before jetting off to the Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, Calif., and then to Napa. Their journey will take them to Yellowstone National Park before culminating in a stay at the opulent Amangiri Resort in Utah, previously frequented by Kourtney Kardashian.
