It has been noted that a supporter of former President Donald Trump asked Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley to marry him on Monday – a proposal Haley quickly shot down after learning that the man would not be voting for her via Mediaite.
During a campaign rally in New Hampshire on Monday, Haley was interrupted by a man in the audience who shouted, “Nikki! Will you marry me?”
Haley laughed before asking, “Are you going to vote for me?”
“I’m voting for Trump,” the man replied, prompting the audience to boo.
Haley shot back, “Oh. Get out of here,” as she waved goodbye to the man with her hand.
On Saturday, at least five climate protesters were escorted out of Haley’s campaign rally in Nashua, New Hampshire after they began to chant and held up a sign which read, “Haley: Climate Criminal.”
Haley responded, “My husband and other military men and women sacrifice for us every day for her to be able to do that.”
According to RealClearPolitics’ New Hampshire poll average, Trump is polling at 54.9% while Haley is polling at 36.7%. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who dropped out of the race before endorsing Trump on Sunday, is polling at 7.5%.
However, nationally, Haley is polling more than 50 points behind Trump at a mere 11.5% versus Trump’s 66.1%.
