Whoopi Goldberg, co-host of “The View,” expressed a strong warning on Tuesday, asserting that not voting for President Biden could be seen as supporting former President Donald Trump’s hypothetical actions of rounding up journalists and gay people. Goldberg painted a vivid picture of Trump’s alleged views, stating, “I’m going to take all the journalists, I’m going to take all the gay folks, and I’ll move you all around and disappear you.”

The discussion on “The View” revolved around the perception of young Democratic voters towards the party and the potential impact of America’s stance on Israel amid the conflict in Gaza on these voters. Sunny Hostin highlighted a perceived divide among young voters on the Israel-Hamas conflict and suggested that those concerned about climate change might abandon Biden over the situation in Gaza.

Goldberg cautioned against media narratives shaping opinions, emphasizing voters’ right to demand that their concerns be addressed. She urged viewers to be critical of media influence and trust their own judgment when making voting decisions.

Later in the conversation, Goldberg took a stance in support of Biden’s re-election, framing it as a choice between forward-thinking and a potential right-wing dictatorship. She implied that not supporting Biden would be endorsing a leader who threatens to take extreme measures against journalists and the LGBTQ+ community.
