UFC welterweight fighter Ian Garry has revealed his plans to include former President Donald Trump in his victory celebration if he beats Colby Covington in a future fight.
It was noted that Garry appeared on The MMA Hour and predicted a brutal beatdown of Covington in the to-be-confirmed fight. He said that when he’s done, he would he’ll humiliate him with Trump in attendance.
Covington, one of the UFC’s most controversial figures in recent memory, is an outspoken supporter of the former president.
“All of the shit he will have said leading up to that fight, I’ll talk to him when I beat the f**k out of him in that octagon,” Garry said. “If Trump’s in attendance, I will drag Colby in front of Trump and I will beat the mouth off and say, ‘This is what you created.’”
Garry then mocked a punch and said, “This is MAGA,” as a taunt to both Covington and Trump.
Should the two actually agree to a fight, there’s a good chance Trump will be in attendance. He’s been at a handful of events in the past, and recently met with UFC star Sean Strickland in Nevada. Trump even praised Strickland — who’s also had his fair share of recent controversy — in a speech during the Nevada primaries.
