TNA President Dixie Carter’s original announcement this past Monday afternoon was actually supposed to be about the upcoming TV tapings in India, but it’s believed that those plans were changed after Sony Six wanted to wait on the announcement so that they could have the TNA talents there in India when the media tour takes place. Thus, TNA just announced the media tour of India and not the tapings instead.
The TV tapings are part of a deal that TNA has made with Sony SIX. The deal is that the network would be financing half of the expense that TNA would have with flying the talents over there and other expenses that TNA would have to put on a TV taping. TNA agreed to this deal after promising to push Mahabali Shera.
