The Dark Order storyline is one of the most talked about things of the AEW programming and people have been guessing who the company could be planning to reveal as ‘The Exalted One’.
Former WCW and WWE star Raven was spotted during a segment on the latest episode of Dynamite, sparking speculation that he could be revealed as the mystery character.
Providing an update on the situation, Mike Johnson of PWinsider suggested that the appearance was likely a red herring. He wrote the following:
“The Raven appearance looks to have been a red herring to make viewers think he is the exalted one when there are plans to go in another direction.”
There is still no word on who the company is planning to reveal as the Exalted One but Matt Hardy is one of the top rumored names for the position.
