Update on WWE changing major WrestleMania matches

Previous reports revealed that WWE had shaken up the WrestleMania plans and many of the matches which were previously planned for the show are no longer on the table.

WWE Hall Of Famer Bully Ray provided some updates on the situation when he talked about the upcoming event on the latest episode of Busted Open Radio.

Ray said that he had heard rumblings that the SmackDown side of the card is not set in stone and a lot of matches including the Universal Championship bout is in a ‘state of flux’:

”I’ve heard rumblings within the WWE. Nothing is set in stone on the SmackDown side of WrestleMania. When it comes to the Universal Championship for WrestleMania, a lot of matches are in a ‘state of flux.’ I think we only have two definitive matches so far set, you know, Brock [Lesnar] and Drew McIntyre plus Charlotte [Flair] and Rhea [Ripley], everything else is up for grabs.”

Dave Meltzer had provided some more updates on the WrestleMania card recently, revealing that currently the show is expected to feature 14 matches in total.
