Rumors have been swirling today than TNA is close to reaching a new television deal with an unnamed company to broadcast “Impact Wrestling.” There was talk that executive John Gaburick was in New York City to close the deal, but the rumors seem wide of the mark.
PWInsider has reported that Gaburick has been at TNA HQ in Nashville, Tennessee according to various TNA sources, although the company is working hard to finalize a new TV deal that will extend beyond 2015.
It’s also noted that TNA is looking to bring back television tapings to the New York City area and there is said to be a “verbal hold” on the Manhattan Center for several dates in early January. The dates haven’t been firmed up as yet and things could change over the next month or so depending on how the TV deal goes.
