During a post-fight news conference after UFC Fight Night 224, White addressed reporters and revealed that the promotion is actively working on arranging a rematch between Grasso and Shevchenko as the next title fight in the division. He stated, “We’re working on that, too. That’s one of the fights we’re definitely working on right now.”
While White did not provide specific details regarding the timeline or location for the anticipated rematch, it is evident that the UFC is determined to make this highly anticipated bout a reality.
Grasso, with an impressive professional record of 16 wins and 3 losses (8-3 UFC), claimed the UFC women’s flyweight championship in the fourth round of her title fight against Shevchenko on March 4.
