Velveteen Dream WWE Firing Email Leaks

WWE NXT star Velveteen Dream has been reportedly relieved of his duties from WWE. He is no longer with the company and the news was first broken by Sean Sapp of Fightful.

 


 

Velveteen Dream has been released by WWE

He took to his Twitter account and revealed the news of the NXT star’s release. He said Canyon Ceman had emailed in WWE to reveal inform the news of the release of Dream. Jon Moxley ‘Buried’ By Fired WWE Star In Photo

It has been also revealed that the former NXT star has a 30-day non-compete clause in his contract which will keep him away from performing in other promotions for the mentioned duration.

Sean Sapp wrote the following on his Twitter account:

“Canyon Ceman emailed within WWE at about 4:45 EST to deliver the news to those in the company that Velveteen Dream was released. Dream has a 30 day non-compete clause”

Sapp also revealed the message he received which was the first pre-confirmation of the news. He wrote:

“”Im not gonna tell you what I just heard but I know you will hear it soon enough so I’ll just say, it’s true.

A message I got ten minutes before the Velveteen Dream news broke. Probably the first pre-confirmation I’ve gotten on something like that””

As per the reports, Dream backstage for the May 10 episode of Raw but was never scheduled to appear on TV.

He had also returned to the WWE Performance Center in recent weeks. He was away from the company  after getting involved in different controversies and an injury he sustained in 2020.

Dream made his last appearance on NXT TV when he lost to Adam Cole on the December 23 edition of the show.

Dream had signed with WWE back in October 2015. It came after his participation in the sixth season of WWE Tough Enough.  During his run in NXT, he has held the NXT North American Championship once.
