WWE Chairman Vince McMahon had previously said that he is not concerned about AEW as he does not consider them as a serious threat compared to what WCW was back in the day. But, ever thought how would it be if Vince bought AEW?

The former ECW TV and Tag Team Champion “Pitbull #1” Gary Wolfe joined on the latest episode of The Wrestling Inc. Daily podcast. Wrestling Inc. Managing Editor Nick Hausman had asked Wolfe if he still follows pro wrestling, and Wolfe responded with a wild theory about WWE and AEW. He believes Vince may own AEW. He said:
“I watch WWE here and there. I’m very confused about how they’re releasing so many people,” Wolfe admitted. “I don’t understand that. I’ll give you an example. I think Vince McMahon may own AEW. That’s just my opinion. Why is his guys rolling and they’re going right there (AEW)? I mean, I know Paul [Wight].”
“I knew Paul before he was a wrestler. I know Vince loves him, and Mark Henry’s another guy. What’s going on? He’s getting rid of all the big guys, don’t make any sense. I’m starting to think that there’s a relationship between Vince McMahon and Tony Khan and AEW.”
It is a crazy theory that Wolfe has put and who knows tables can certainly turn. WWE had previously bought WCW and they could do something similar to AEW in the future if situation ever changes.
