Vince McMahon gives justification for RAW’s dip in ratings

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak that has taken over the world, WWE changed plans drastically and have been shooting content at the WWE Performance Center. There has been no live audience in attendance. The ratings for Smackdown have not dipped much, but the same cannot be said for Monday Night RAW. Vince McMahon shed some light on this.

During WWE’s financial call, Vince McMahon discussed RAW’s drop in ratings. The show has fallen below 2 million viewers for a few weeks, which is certainly not a good thing. McMahon blamed the ratings on having to bring in new talent and not being able to rely on established stars like Lesnar. He said it would take time to get the new Superstars over.

Of course, Lesnar will be back eventually. He was last seen at WrestleMania 36, where he lost the WWE Title to Drew McIntyre. We will have to see what WWE does in order to improve its product.
