Wrestlingnomics owner Brandon Thurston took to social media via Twitter to report that Vince McMahon was not in the room during the most recent WWE earnings call during a series of Tweets. Although his opening remarks were apart of the call, that’s the only appearance the WWE Chairman would make as he would leave the Conference call early. This legendary WWE tag team discussed how Vince McMahon dealt with angry fans recently.
Thurston acknowledged how analyst Laura Martin from the stock analyst outlet Needham went to ask a question, yet McMahon was not there.
Laura Martin of Needham tries to ask Vince a question. Nick takes this one too. It doesn’t seem Vince is in the room.
In addition, according to RingsideNews, McMahon has missed multiple editions of WWE programming including Raw, Smackdown, and the 2021 edition of the Royal Rumble. While he returned this past week, many attribute this series of absences due to the death of his brother, Roderick. Chris Benoit ‘ruined’ the debut of Vince McMahon’s brother.
During their latest revenue report WWE also said: WWE says it expects “restrictions related to the spread of COVID-19, particularly related to the cancellation, postponement or reduced capacity of ticketed live events, to continue at least through the first half of 2021.”
