Vince McMahon Nearly Fired Rhea Ripley After…

Rhea Ripley has encountered her fair share of challenges on her journey to becoming one of WWE’s top female Superstars. In a surprising revelation, Ripley recently disclosed that she faced the possibility of being fired from WWE on multiple occasions.

During her early days in WWE, the current Women’s World Champion sported a markedly different look compared to her current iconic gothic appearance. The initial generic presentation, which mirrored the styles of other female Superstars in the locker room at the time, failed to garner positive reactions backstage.

Speaking candidly to The Ringer, Ripley unveiled that her position in WWE was precarious, and she found herself on the verge of termination several times. She further mentioned that she was uncertain whether WWE intended for her to be aware of this precarious situation.

“At that point, I was on the chopping block. I nearly got fired a few times. I don’t know if they wanted me to know that, but I did know that.”

In a previous admission, Ripley acknowledged that the women’s division faced challenges while she was engaged in matches against male competitors. Despite this, the evolving narrative surrounding Ripley’s character and career trajectory remains uncertain, leaving fans intrigued about WWE’s future plans for her.

As the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event approaches on January 27th, it remains to be seen how WWE will continue to shape and book Rhea Ripley, whose resilience and hard work have undeniably propelled her to the upper echelons of the women’s division. The revelation of her near-dismissals adds a layer of complexity to Ripley’s narrative, emphasizing the hurdles she overcame to secure her current standing in the world of professional wrestling.
