WWE Hall of Famer tag team, The Bella Twins comprising of Brie Bella and Nikki Bella recently dropped some hints about their plans of making an in-ring return.
The Bella Twins are set to return soon
The Bella Twins had previously announced their retirements from in-ring competition in. However, they had also also expressed their desire to capture the Women’s Tag Team Championship, which were introduced back in February 2019.
Brie Bella recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight’s Deidre Behar and recalled her match against Stephanie McMahon at SummerSlam pay-per-view in 2014. Daniel Bryan ‘Rejects’ Big Name After WWE
The former WWE star, who is a mother-of-two said she wants her children to experience watching her perform in the ring, the same way Stephanie’s children watched her SummerSlam match.
Here’s what she had say about her match:
“I’ll never forget the moment that I wrestled Stephanie McMahon at SummerSlam, and to see her three little girls – they were little at the time – their faces when we came back, they looked at their mom like she was a superhero, and I want that one day. I just thought that was the coolest thing. So, the Bellas are definitely going to make a comeback. We don’t know exactly when but we said we have one more run in us and we’d really love to do it.”
On the other hand, Nikki Bella said that their return is ‘definitely’ on the cards and she would change her in-ring style upon her return:
“I know for me, we are definitely starting that preparation,” Nikki said. “When we come back, I want to change my style in the ring a little bit but I want to make a statement, so I realize that I have to start that now.”
The sister recently made an appearance during WrestleMania 37 as they attacked Bayley for insulting the hosts of the event, Hulk Hogan and Titus O’Neil.
