Donald Trump’s ex-wife Marla Maples has posted a new standup paddle boarding video, as seen below.

According to CBS, In Iowa, former Vice President Mike Pence rallied religious conservatives by championing President Trump’s efforts to limit abortion rights. Trump has been hesitant to discuss the controversial topic on the campaign trail, but Pence raised his voice to celebrate the president’s nominations of three conservative judges to the Supreme Court, which led to the potential overturning of the landmark Roe v. Wade ruling in 2022. This accomplishment was hailed by the crowd of religious conservatives, who viewed it as a significant achievement of the Trump administration.

Pence’s appearance at the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition’s spring fundraiser marks the unofficial start of the state’s 2024 caucus campaign, and it gives Republican candidates the opportunity to appeal to evangelical voters in a state where they will be crucial in the nominating process. U.S. Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, who is expected to enter the race, and Trump, who is already a candidate, will address the gathering. Meanwhile, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a top rival to Trump, will not attend.

Abortion rights have resurfaced as a crucial issue in elections, with conservatives finally achieving their goal of overturning Roe v. Wade last year. Republican presidential hopefuls are trying to navigate how far to go in supporting restrictions on abortion to satisfy the conservative base in the primary without alienating general election voters, who mostly support legalizing abortion. However, Trump’s position that abortion restrictions should be left up to states instead of the federal government has drawn criticism from Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, the nation’s leading anti-abortion group.

While Pence distinguishes himself from Trump by supporting federal restrictions on abortion, he and his advocacy group have pushed for Congress to pass legislation that includes a national abortion ban beginning around six weeks. All the Republican candidates have supported state bans on abortion, and most have been cautious about staking a position on a nationwide ban.

In his Iowa visits, Scott has sought to build rapport with influential evangelical pastors, promoting the unification of the nation around Christian faith and hopefulness, a message that diverges from the adversarial tone of Trump and DeSantis. Other speakers at the event included Vivek Ramaswamy, former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, radio host Larry Elder, former Rep. Will Hurd of Texas, former Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, and former Michigan gubernatorial candidate Perry Johnson. Johnson criticized DeSantis for not attending, saying that he was making a huge mistake.
