Who will be running AEW?

It is safe to say that the Elite’s new promotion AEW will be the talk of the town for weeks to come. Big information about the promotion will be revealed during the Double or Nothing Rally in Jacksonville on January 8th.

A tremendously important question, however, remains unanswered. Who will be running All Elite Wrestling?

Tony Khan of The Khan Family who owns the Jacksonville Jaguars will be the boss of ALL ELITE WRESTLING, according to Dave Meltzer who noted this on Wrestling Observer Radio. This would explain why the Elite chose Jacksonville for their Double or Nothing Rally.

Meltzer also dropped some hints regarding Chris Jericho being one of the names who’ll be involved with the company alongside Khan.

“Tony Khan, who is the son of Shahid Khan is the head of the company,” said Meltzer.

“So he will be the guy running the company. I think Chris Jericho had that picture at the Jacksonville Jaguars game. He put that picture up, obviously, for a reason. He’s not signed, if he was signed I’d tell ya but he’s not signed right now.”

Meltzer then said that Jericho has obviously been on AEW’s radar and that’s no secret.

It’d be interesting to see if Jericho actually signs a deal with AEW. However, if he does so, the WWE won’t be too happy about it.
