Wrestler Needs Paramedics After Botched Powerbomb

Professional wrestling is often known for its risks and potential dangers, with performers putting their bodies on the line to entertain audiences. Recently, Yuya Uemura suffered an injury during an IMPACT Wrestling TV taping on February 25th due to a botched move. The young wrestler faced Sami Callihan during the match, which had to end early when Uemura landed on his head following a powerbomb that went wrong.

Emergency medical services were quickly called in to attend to Uemura, who had been on the middle rope when Callihan executed the move. While the severity of his injury was initially unclear, Uemura has since provided an update on his health.

Just saw Sami Callihan drop Uemura on his head on a powerbomb and have to get seen by paramedics. Legit injury. Yikes.”

Uemura has now talked about it, providing an injury update. He said he was “good” and would get revenge on Callihan soon.
