The young wrestler faced Sami Callihan during the match, which had to end early when Uemura landed on his head following a powerbomb that went wrong.
Emergency medical services were quickly called in to attend to Uemura, who had been on the middle rope when Callihan executed the move. While the severity of his injury was initially unclear, Uemura has since provided an update on his health.
