WWE appoints new head writers for SmackDown and Raw

WWE has made some big behind the scene changes to their writing teams, probably in the preparation for SmackDown’s upcoming move to Fox Network.

According to reports from F4Wonline, Ryan Ward who has been working as the head writer of SmackDown Live is now out. The official word is that he is on personal leave.

Word is that Ed Koskey will be taking the place of Ward. Koskey has been working with the company from 18 years and he has been working as the lead writer of Raw in the past few years.

After Koskey, Jonathan Baeckstrom will now be leading the writer’s team of the Red Brand and working with the new executive director Paul Heyman.

Baeckstrom has been working as the lead writer for the Cruiserweight Exclusive Brand 205 Live since November 2016. He was recently brought up to Raw by Heyman after he was appointed the Executive Director of the show.
