The former WWE star Savio Vega was recently hospitalized. However, the actual reason for Vega’s hospitalization is still unknown.

In a tweet on August 21, IWA Puerto Rico, a promotion Vega remains involved with, tweeted that he is undergoing a series of treatments at the hospital. IWA Puerto Rico, the company that the 58-year-old has long been associated with took to social media to confirm that Savio Vega had been taken to hospital where he is currently undergoing a range of tests.
“Yesterday, Saturday, Savio Vega had to be transferred to a hospital in an emergency. He is still under treatment.
You need to rest to recover as soon as possible.
He has his phone at hand to communicate only with his relatives. We request space. Thanks.
An update was also posted. A rough translation of the tweet is as follows:
“In an update for our fans, Puerto Rican Major Savio Vega is still in the hospital and undergoing a series of treatments. We wish him a speedy recovery.”
Vega’s brother also tweeted and stated that his brother is “fine and stable.”
“To those who have asked about my brother Savio’s health, thank you,” he wrote. “He is fine and stable. At the moment I ask you please not to write or call him as he needs to be calm and at rest. Thank you all.”
