WWE Champion From Attitude Era Is Back At Raw

Triple H is back running WWE Raw after missing last week, FightfulSelect.com reports. He was ‘frustrated’ to miss last week due to having the virus, as he felt fine.

WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle remains one of the most technically-gifted pro wrestlers to have ever stepped foot inside the squared circle. He had arguably the best rookie year in WWE history as he won the WWE Championship within a year and competed at the highest level for many years after that.

Angle would leave WWE in 2006 and made his way to TNA Wrestling, where he spent a decade in the company, surpassing the seven years he stayed in WWE. He also had instant classics in TNA, including matches against the likes of AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Nigel McGuiness, and many more.

Speaking on the latest episode of his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, the Olympic gold medalist revealed that he wanted to be paid $300,000 per match, for a total of $3 million dollars to join AEW.

“Well, to even consider coming back, it’s going to have to be a substantial amount of money,” said Kurt when asked if he would ever wrestle again. “I do remember, Tony Khan wanted me to come in and wrestle for him. This was like 4 years ago, and I said, ‘For 10 matches, I want $3 million.”
