WWE Female Name ‘Harassed’ Before Firing

WWE has been known to be disrespectful to their current and former roster. If we take a step back and look at WWE through a wide scope, we can see that WWE have treated tons of hired help poorly. Remember the Mickie James box incident? That’s just the tip of the iceberg as many more are coming forward and speaking up about their poor treatment…CM Punk Called Out By Ex-WWE Girlfriend.

The story starts out with a WWE writer being fired. The writer here is comedian, Kenice Mobley. Kenice was just hired to work the RAW brand earlier this month.

She made headlines this week for her recent appearance on the “Asian Not Asian” podcast, where she revealed that WWE did not require her to have any pro wrestling knowledge when they hired her.

She received significant negative feedback from fans for some of her other comments on Twitter and the podcast, including not knowing if the WWE Champion was named “Bobby Ashley” or Bobby Lashley. This led to her being harassed badly on Twitter, and shutting down her social media channels.

A Twitter user stated: “WWE has been hiring writers with no wrestling experience or knowledge for years now, and we’ve known about it. But somehow, this young black woman, aho (who) hasn’t even started yet, has gotten the anger and wrath of the online wrestling world. I wonder why?”

Dave Meltzer set to clear things up by stating: “The wrath has been against the hiring practice, not the person.”
