WWE Fired Famous Young Star Before Raw

Fans have witnessed several wrestlers who showed immense potential but ultimately couldn’t reach their full potential. Damon Kemp, once considered a future star in NXT, has just announced that he is no longer working with WWE.

The NXT Superstar took to Twitter to share the news, expressing his gratitude for the opportunities and connections he gained during his tenure with the company.

“As of today I am no longer under contract with WWE. Forever grateful for the people I met and the experiences I’ve had. For business inquiries – [email protected]

Damon Kemp had joined WWE in August 2021 and wrestled his final match on the June 25th, 2024 episode of WWE NXT. His departure comes as a huge surprise, given the bright future many predicted for him in WWE’s developmental brand.

Damon Kemp is the brother of Gable Steveson, who also left WWE earlier this year. With his talent and potential, fans are eager to see what the future holds for Damon Kemp. He had been on WWE TV recently as part of the No Quarter Catch Crew with Charlie Dempsey and Myles Borne. That group had also featured Drew Gulak before his departure from the company.

Olympic gold medallist Gable Steveson was also released after failing to progress as many had hoped. Since his exit, Steveson has now signed up with the Buffalo Bills as he embarks on a career in the NFL.
