When Bayley dropped the NXT Women’s Championship to Asuka there were brief rumors that the fan favorite could be main-roster bound, however it seems those plans are shelved for the time being.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE is holding back on promoting Bayley as they feel there is no other credible female babyface on the NXT roster that can take her place. This is interesting in itself as Bayley dropped the title to another babyface star.
