WWE Lose Ex-Champion After Mandy Rose

Days after firing Mandy Rose, WWE releases another WWE women’s wrestler – Sasha Banks. According to reports, Sasha’s release was negotiated months ago and was apparently a mutual decision. But let’s see what the trades are saying.

As per Ringside News, Sasha Banks stunned the wrestling world when she walked out of the WWE during an episode of Monday Night RAW – and never came back. She along with fellow WWE women’s wrestler, Naomi handed over their tag team titles and walked away from the company. Just like that.

Ringside News reported in June that Banks and Naomi’s contracts were in the hands of attorneys at the time – aren’t they always. It seems that those contracts are up, and fans are waiting on their next moves.

Sasha Banks wasn’t seen on WWE television, and she wasn’t even mentioned until recently. There have been reports that Sasha Banks would make an appearance at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom, which put to rest the speculation that she might return to the WWE soon.

Fightful Select reports Sasha Banks’ WWE exit was negotiated “months ago” despite her still being listed on the company’s website. I doubt this will remain for much longer. It was also noted that Sasha Banks was free to take bookings from January 1st 2023.

“It was confirmed to Fightful that Mercedes’ WWE exit was negotiated “months ago,” likely when Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. reported as much. However, WWE has yet to officially confirm this, and she remains listed on the company’s official website.

People are exiting left right and center. AEW may have regained the momentum.
