Vince McMahon was the CEO of WWE before he had to step down following allegations of sexual misconduct and allegedly having paid $12 million in hush money in a huge scandal. He eventually retired from WWE for good and was replaced by his daughter Stephanie McMahon as the CEO of WWE. According to PWInsider, Disney+ will begin offering the WWE Network in the Philippines on November 17. The Star brand, which offers content akin to Hulu in the United States, will offer live events and on-demand programming. Licensed material from other regional sources is also included.
For Southeast Asian users and viewers, WWE Network and Disney+ will merge. More specifically, the well-known philstar.com publication reports that Disney+ will launch in the Philippines on November 17, 2022. This new arrangement will be comparable to how WWE interacts with other streaming platforms, such as Peacock in the US.
