WWE’s deal with Fox is a huge one and it will bring about some major changes in the company and in the world of professional wrestling. Fox will reportedly have a meeting with WWE to discuss the changes, next week.
Matt Riddle no longer went up the NXT card as he was supposed and other reports suggested that WWE had no plans to put him in the main event for NXT TakeOver: Toronto.
According to a report by Brad Shepard, WWE is interested in bringing Riddle to the main roster so that he can be part of Smackdown Live in time for the Fox deal.
According to a source in #WWE, the company is interested in promoting Matt Riddle to the main roster going into Fox. As I previously reported on #OYDKWS, he’ll eventually get his chance as long as his inappropriate tweeting was a lesson learned.
