WWE RAW Results For October 12th, 2015: Kane vs. Rollins

Welcome to the WWE Raw pre-show and we are live on the WWE Network. David Otunga is shown playing the saxophone backstage. Corey Graves mocked him for it and told him to go as the show is about to start.  Scott Stanford, Corey Graves and David Otunga hype what we will see tonight which is Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman as well as John Cena’s U.S Open Challenge.

There is a recap video of last week’s episode of Raw. The panel discussed The New Day and their actions against John Cena on last week’s episode of RAW. Also, Rusev and Lana’s engagement.

Welcome to WWE Monday Night Raw, Kane is shown on the phone with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. They tell him that they’re going to be late to tonight’s show and that he’s in charge. Kane told the production assistant that Seth Rollins will be in action tonight and Rollins will be facing him in a lumberjack match tonight. He told her to go tell Rollins.

Dean Ambrose walked down to the ring and said he had some good news. Ambrose said that the news is that The Authority will not be here until later tonight. He welcomed the fans to the show. Ambrose said that he’s looking for a fight. This leads to Randy Orton walking down to the ring. Orton said that he loves Chicago, but the reason he’s out here because last Thursday on SmackDown and was in a fight with the Wyatts. Orton said that he just learned that Ambrose will be fighting Luke Harper and Braun Strowman at the Hell in a Cell PPV, but no worries as he will be his tag team partner. Ambrose said that he’s been fighting them for years and as long as Orton follows his lead then they’re going to be just fine.

Orton said that while Ambrose was dreaming to be a Superstar, he was here doing his thing. Orton said that if they want to end the war against the Wyatts then Ambrose needs to follow his lead. The New Day walks down to the ring. They said that they took out Dolph Ziggler and John Cena last week. They also sent The Dudley Boyz to the nursing home. Xavier Woods pointed out that neither Randy Orton or Dean Ambrose do all of that. The New Day said that they have a new saying, out with the old and in with The New Day. They told Orton just to sit on the bench and let them shine. Kane appeared on the titantron and booked a match against the men.

Tag Team Match: New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) vs. Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose

Kingston and Ambrose start things off. Kingston went for a back elbow, but Ambrose blocked it and sent him to the floor.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back from break with Ambrose in control of Big E. He tagged in Orton, who kicked Big E in the chest then hit a standing drop kick for 2. Orton with a shoulder block then tagged in Ambrose, who put the boots to Big E. Ambrose went to the top rope and hit a dropkick to Big E for a near fall. Orton tagged in and landed a series of kicks. Orton and Ambrose start to argue about the match. Orton and Ambrose dumped Big E, and Kingston to the floor then went back to arguing.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back from break with New Day getting the heat on Randy Orton with frequent tags. Big E went for a spear through the ropes on Orton, but Orton moved and Big E landed hard on the floor. Ambrose got the hot tag and landed a series of right hands to Big E. Ambrose took out Kingston with a dive out of the ring. Ambrose with a dive taking out the two men. Back in the ring, Ambrose hit a crossbody to Big E for a near fall. Ambrose went for Dirty Deeds but blocked. Big E with a belly to belly suplex. Kingston and Orton get the hot tags. Orton with a series of clotheslines then a scoop slam. Orton went for the second rope DDT and hit it. Kingston shoved Orton in Ambrose, who was got into the ring, to roll up Orton.

Winners: New Day.

Highlights from the Bayley – Sasha Banks match from NXT Takeover: Respect is shown.

Singles Match: Nikki Bella vs. Naomi.

They lock up; Naomi kicked her in the face. Naomi with a knee drop for 2. Nikki caught Naomi and slammed her down to the ground. Nikki with a hip toss then a series of shoulder blocks to Naomi in the corner. Naomi fight back with a series of kicks then hit a drop kick. Naomi dumped Nikki to the floor then took her out with a dive. Brie Bella grabbed the microphone and started repeating “We want Sasha.” This led to Sasha taking out Brie Bella. Back in the ring, Nikki attacked her from behind and hit the Rack Attack for the win.

Winner: Nikki Bella.

-Commercial Break-

John Cena walked down to the ring. He cuts a promo about how great the fans are in Chicago. Cena said that he is the man to beat despite public opinion. He then issued the U.S Open Challenge.

U.S Title Match: John Cena © vs. Dolph Ziggler.

Cena with a hip toss, Cena then worked over the arm of Ziggler. Ziggler jumped out of the ring. Cena grabbed the mic and pointed out that there is a married couple in the crowd. Someone purposed in the crowd. Ziggler took advantage by locking in an arm submission.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with Ziggler hitting a clothesline then a splash in the corner to Cena. Ziggler with a series of elbows. Cena ducked a clothesline and hit a series of shoulder tackles. Cena went for the five knuckle shuffle, but reversed by Ziggler with a drop kick. Ziggler missed the fameasser and Cena went for the AA, but Ziggler rolled through and rolled him up for 2. Cena reversed it into an STF. Ziggler reversed this and locked in a sleeper. Cena reversed this into an AA, but Ziggler rolled out of the ring. Back in the ring, Cena covered him, but only got 2. Cena picked Ziggler up, he went for an AA off the middle rope, but Ziggler fought out. Ziggler hit a second rope DDT for a near fall.

Ziggler went for a superkick, but Cena moved and hit a big clothesline. Ziggler popped up and hit a drop kick. He went for a splash but blocked, and Cena went for an AA, but Ziggler countered it and hit the fameasser for a near fall. Cena tripped Ziggler and locked in the STF. Ziggler managed to make it to the bottom rope. Cena put Ziggler on the top rope, but Ziggler fought back with right hands. Ziggler went for a crossbody but was caught. Ziggler raked the eyes of Cena and hit a superkick for a near fall.

They trade punches, Ziggler with a headbutt then the Zig Zag for a near fall. Cena popped up and hit the AA for the win.

Winner and still champ: Cena.

Tag Team Match: Dudley Boyz vs. The Ascension

Bubba and Konnor started it off, but Bubba got the better of him and tagged in Viktor. Bubba with a scoop slam to Viktor then they hit a 3-D for the win.

Winners: Dudley Boyz

Tag Team Match: Sheamus and King Barrett vs. Neville and Cesaro.

Neville with a series of kicks to Barrett then he landed a drop kick that led to Cesaro getting the tag. Cesaro with a scoop slam into a foot stomp for 2. Sheamus got the tag, and he and Cesaro exchanged uppercuts. Cesaro with a series then hit a drop kick for 2. Sheamus with a punch to the gut of Cesaro then he followed up with a slam. Cesaro off the ropes, but held on and sent Sheamus to the apron. Sheamus with a strike to the back of Cesaro. Sheamus went for a springboard move, but ate an uppercut instead. Cesaro with an uppercut to Sheamus on the floor. Cesaro launched Neville over the top rope to take out Sheamus and Barrett. Back in the ring, Neville rolled up Sheamus for 2. Barrett with the Bull Hammer to Neville and Sheamus rolled him up for the win.

Winners: Sheamus and Barrett.

Roman Reigns walked down to the ring and cut a promo. He said that his feud with Bray Wyatt is because of the WWE Championship. Reigns said that he was in the Money in the Bank ladder match when Wyatt took him out and cost him his chance of becoming WWE Champion again. Reigns said that he was whopping Wyatt’s ass at Battleground, but then Luke Harper got involved. He called on Dean Ambrose to help him, and they beat them at SummerSlam. Then Braun Strowman appeared.

He said that Wyatt saying anyone, but you saying. Reigns said that everything he does in the WWE is for his family. Reigns said that he is going to rip Wyatt a part at Hell in a Cell. This leads to The Wyatt Family walking out to the stage. Wyatt said at the HIAC PPV there will be a massacre. Reigns said that Wyatt will wish that he was in the cell with anyone but him.

-Commercial Break-

Singles Match: Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns

They lock up, Strowman with a slam that leads to him locking in a headlock. Reigns fought out with a some elbows. Reigns connected with a series of clotheslines. Reigns with a big boot then some more clotheslines. Reigns tried to lift Strowman up, but couldn’t and Strowman connected with a clothesline. Strowman with a clothesline. Reigns fought back and hit the drive by on the apron. He went for it again, but Strowman connected with a clothesline. Reigns popped up and connected with a Superman Punch to Strowman to win the match by count out.

Winner: Reigns.

Reigns walked to the back as the Wyatt Family jumped into the ring.

Singles Match: Rusev with Summer Rae vs. Ryback

Rusev with a series of strikes to Ryback. The announcers are confused as to why Summer Rae is out at ringside since Rusev and Lana are engaged. Rusev with a shoulder block but Ryback fired back with his own. Ryback with a back suplex. Ryback went for the Shell Shock but blocked, and Rusev hit a superkick for a near fall. Rusev missed a splash in the corner and Ryback hit the Shell Shock for the win.

Winners: Ryback

Summer Rae helped Rusev to his feet. Rae said that she wanted everyone to know that Rusev is a real man. She showed a graphic of Rusev and Lana hanging out with the headline reading that they’re engaged. Rae said that Rusev is not a strong man, but a whipped little boy. Rae said that she will never waste another minute on someone like him. She called him a bastard then slapped him and walked away.

-Commercial Break-

Singles Match: Kevin Owens vs. Kalisto

Owens with a kick to the gut of Kalisto. He then hit a power slam then a back splash. Owens dumped Kalisto to the floor then mocked the Lucha Dragons. Back in the ring, Kalisto hit a drop kick to Owens. Kalisto went for a dive, but Owens moved and Kalisto crashed. Kalisto with a kick to the face of Owens and then hit a dive for 2. Kalisto with a hurricanronna followed by a spike DDT for a near fall. Kalisto off the middle rope, but was caught and Owens hit a powerbomb for the win.

Winner: Owens.

Tag Team Match: Brie Bella and Alicia Fox vs. Charlotte and Becky Lyntch

Brie and Charlotte exchange strikes. Charlotte knocked Fox off the apron and hit a spear to Brie. Charlotte went for the figure four, but Brie rolled her up for a near fall. Paige and Natalya got into a shoving match on the outside. Paige explained on commentator that the reason she did that was because Natalya needs to stay in the back. Brie hit a diving drop to Charlotte for the win.

Winners: Brie Bella and Alicia Fox

Kane is still on the phone with The Authority and they’re having some major travel issues. He told them that he would be facing Seth Rollins tonight. Triple H told him no and to pick someone else, but himself.

-Commercial Break-

Lumberjack Match: Demon Kane vs. Seth Rollins

The two start brawling. Kane with a series of uppercuts. Rollins tried to run through the crowd, but Cesaro caught him and the lumberjacks tossed him back into the ring. Rollins with a kick then sent Kane to the floor. Big Show with a KO punch to Kane. Back in the ring, Rollins covered him for 2. Rollins hit Kane with a superkick for a near fall. Rollins with a flying knee to the face of Kane for 2. Rollins off the top rope with a frog splash for 2. Kane with an uppercut then hit a suplex off the middle rope. The lumberjacks pulled Kane out of the ring and started attack him. This led to the lumberjacks brawling with each other. The brawl spilled into the ring. Kane hit a chokeslam to Rollins then Xavier Woods. Rollins popped up and went for the pedigree, but blocked. Kane hit the tombstone to Rollins for the win.

Winner: Demon Kane.

Kane stood tall over Rollins to close the show.
