– WWE has moved the 2010 Royal Rumble pay-per-view to January 31st. The show was scheduled for January 24th which would have put it up against the NFL AFC or NFC Championship game. Apparently, WWE scheduled the Royal Rumble without knowing that the NFL would be running a championship game that night, and made the move when they became aware of it.

WWE’s website and The Philips Arena website have both confirmed the change, noting that tickets originally purchased are still good. Ticketmaster is still listing the event as the 24th and selling tickets for it but that will likely be fixed soon.
