WWE NXT Live Events Rescheduled, Devon on WWE Referring Talents to the Team 3D Academy

– We noted earlier that former WWE, ECW and TNA star Devon recently spoke with Brian Fritz of Between The Ropes. Fritz has more highlights on SportingNews.com at this link. Devon revealed that WWE has referred talents to the Team 3D Academy of Professional Wrestling in Florida. Devon said:

“They would let these guys go and tell them you guys need to brush up on this and that and maybe come back to us in six months. If you want, maybe you should go to the Dudley’s school. That speaks volumes in itself, that things like that are being said about our school from a company we haven’t even been in in ten years. Kudos to the WWE and thank you for the respect on that level because they don’t really have to do that but they do. I am really proud to know that people are really taking a liking to the wrestling school.”

– WWE announced the following on this weekend’s NXT live events being rescheduled:

“The NXT events on Thursday, March 19, at Orlando Armory in Orlando, Fla., and Saturday, March 21, at UACDC Gymnasium, in Tampa, Fla., have been rescheduled. The event at Orlando Armory will now take place on Saturday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m., and the event at Tampa’s UACDC Gymnasium will take place on Thursday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m. All tickets purchased for NXT will be honored on the rescheduled dates. Fans that cannot attend the rescheduled dates should call (877) 840-0457 for refunds.”
