WWE Permanently Get Rid Of Woman On SmackDown

In a recent announcement, WWE revealed some changes to its broadcast teams for its flagship shows, Raw and SmackDown. The popular wrestling promotion has made adjustments to its lineup of backstage interviewers and pre-show hosts.

Jackie Redmond, who has been with WWE since 2021, is set to transition into the role of backstage interviewer for Raw. Joining her on the show will be Byron Saxton, who will continue his duties as a backstage interviewer as well. Redmond, known for her work on Raw Talk and Talking Smack, will also continue to contribute to WWE’s studio programming.

Meanwhile, Cathy Kelley, who returned to WWE in 2020 after a brief departure, will be moving to SmackDown as a backstage interviewer. She will join Kayla Braxton, who has been a mainstay on the show, in conducting backstage interviews and bringing exclusive insights to the viewers. Kelley’s versatility and experience make her a valuable addition to the SmackDown team.

Additionally, Braxton and Redmond will team up as co-hosts for WWE’s pay-per-view pre-shows, providing analysis and predictions for the upcoming events. They will be joined by pre-show panelists Booker T and Peter Rosenberg, who will continue their roles on the panel.

Megan Morant, who had previously been on SmackDown, will now take on the role of hosting Raw Talk, The SmackDown LowDown, international shows for television, and digital shows. She will also be hosting WWE’s Twitch sidecast during Raw, engaging with fans and providing unique commentary during the show.

Outside of WWE, Redmond is a well-known hockey broadcaster for the NHL Network and WBD Sports. She will continue to fulfill her commitments in those roles during the hockey season. The combination of her expertise in both wrestling and hockey adds depth to her contributions in the broadcasting world.

These changes to the broadcast teams aim to enhance the overall viewing experience for WWE fans, ensuring dynamic and engaging coverage of the promotion’s events. With experienced and talented individuals taking on these roles, WWE continues to evolve its presentation and deliver top-notch entertainment to its dedicated audience.
