Becky Lynch has been calling herself “The Man for some time now. The Lass Kicker got the idea while she was feuding with Charlotte Flair due to Ric Flair’s iconic catchphrase, “If you wanna be the man you’ve gotta beat the man.”
Since then, Lynch has stated that she is the Man, and that includes not just the women’s roster, but anyone that is on the WWE’s payroll. And on their latest list on Instagram, “The Best Men in WWE History,” the SmackDown Women’s Champion led the pack.

Becky Lynch beat out legends like “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Big Boss Man, and the Million Dollar Man.
Lynch responded to the WWE’s rankings, again explaining why it’s so important for her to be known as The Man in the WWE.
It’s cool, there’s no ‘they’ – being The Man is my own statement. After decades of (awesome) men being The Man, what’s more empowering than saying to both female & male locker rooms, “I am The Man now, what are you going to do about it?” Because make no mistake, that’s what I am. pic.twitter.com/LGEmuogWWO
