WWE Reject Rehiring Former World Champion

For well over a year now WWE has released several talents from their contracts and that includes many former world champions such as Braun Strowman.

Strowman was being paid $1.2 million per year according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter and that ultimately resulted in him getting fired by WWE. Since then there have been talks of Braun Strowman making his way to AEW and Impact Wrestling, but nothing has materialized as of yet.

According to Ringside News, WWE has no interest in bringing Braun Strowman back. A tenured member of the creative team stated that  if the company wanted him back, then “he would have already been in the fold.”

It was further added that “WWE is not approaching Braun. Braun keeps trying to get his job back” and that  “so far, there’s been no interest.”

We keep getting asked about Braun Strowman’s situation. Here is all we know. WWE has no interest in having him back. We were told if it was going to happen then he would be back in the fold already. His non-compete clause is over and WWE isn’t interested in having him back.

We will have to wait and see what will ultimately become of The Monster Among Men.
