Samoa Joe recently relinquished the NXT Title after he revealed that he sustained injuries. It has been previously noted how the NXT brand is set to undergo some drastic changes which can be seen starting tomorrow. A new logo for the show has already been released. But it turns out Samoa Joe will not be making his presence felt on the brand. Original plans for RAW tonight were quite interesting, and they might have changed. Samoa Joe was slated to make RAW appearance
According to a report from Fightful Select, Samoa Joe was set to appear on RAW tonight. It’s unknown if those plans were altered, but it has been noted that he was in the original script for the show.
This morning that an original Raw script called for him to actually appear on tonight’s show. We’re not sure what Joe was scheduled to do or if he’ll remain on the program, but we were told it was in relation to promoting the relaunch of NXT on Tuesday night.
We will have to see what happens on RAW tonight. They might have planned to bring Joe in to hype the new NXT starting tomorrow night.
