As noted earlier, Dave Meltzer mentioned on his recent installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that Daniel Bryan was sent home from the WWE European tour because he was diagnosed with a concussion which was believed to have been suffered during match on SmackDown against Sheamus.
Prior to the Meltzer’s report of Bryan suffering a concussion, WWE issued a statement noting Bryan had been sent home from the tour as a “precautionary measure” and offered no additional details on Bryan’s condition.
Meltzer noted that even though he was told that Bryan suffered a concussion, WWE is saying that’s not the case. WWE is not saying what the issue is “other than that he’s banged up.”
