Santino Marella comes out and he has something to say. He says that Santino’s Smackdown is off to a rousing start. You two with your fascination with ladders. This gave him an A-HA moment. You will face each other in a Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Title at TLC.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Seth Rollins, Big Show, Kane, Joey Mercury, and Jamie Noble are in the ring.

Seth says that it is almost that time of year again. He says that it is not that horrible retched holiday Christmas. He is talking about WWE’s version of a Demolition Derby . . . TLC. Tables, Ladders, and Chairs. You could call it Tables, Ladders, Chairs, and Stairs this year. At TLC, he will be competing in a Tables Match against your beloved superhero John Cena. If John Cena loses, which he will, not only will he lose the match, he will lose his status as number one contender for the WWE Championship.

Seth says that it excites him because he could be the one to take everything away from John Cena that he has been working for. Seth says the best thing is that he doesn’t have to make Cena tap out. He doesn’t have to pin John’s shoulders to the mat, like he did at Survivor Series. All he has to do to John Cena is what he did on Monday night. All he has to do is put John Cena through a table again.

Just like that, everything he worked for goes up in smoke. It is not just going to be the table that is broken. It will not just be his body that is broken. It will be his spirit that is broken. John will realize that Seth is the future and everything that he worked for is gone.

Seth said it is like a Demolition Derby and the key phrase is demolish. At TLC, he will have tables in the ring, he will have tables around the ring, and he will have tables up and down the aisle. Not only will John lose his status as number one contender, he will get a lot of splinters in his butt.

Big Show says that is funny. He says that he has been in the WWE a long time. He has been in thousands of matches. Ladder matches, chair matches, table matches, hardcore matches, lumberjack matches, but this is his first steel stair match.

That means that he, as a giant can swing those steel stairs right into his opponent’s body. He is going to show everyone what he is going to do to Erick Rowan. Big Show goes to the floor and he picks up the top half of the stairs and he slams them onto the bottom half of the stairs and then into the ring post.

He says that is a giant swinging those stairs. He does not care if Rowan can solve the Rubik’s Cube fast. He doesn’t care if he is a genius or plays the guitar. That will not prepare him for his match at TLC. There will be steel stairs and Rowan will not be climbing them, he will be eating them.

Kane says speaking of eating, that brings us to Ryback. His favorite thing to say is ‘Feed Me More’. When I face Ryback at TLC in a Chairs Match, the only thing he will be fed is chair after chair after chair after chair . . .

Santino’s music plays again and he makes his way onto the stage.

He tells everyone to take it easy. The WWE Universe comes first when he runs Smackdown and tonight he is running Smackdown. In the main event, Seth Rollins and the Big Show will face Ryback and Erick Rowan.

We take a look at what happened on Raw with Miz and Naomi. Then we see what Jimmy Uso did to Miz. Then we go to Miz’ ‘apology’ on Main Event.

Where is this bright side you speak of? They have been searching and searching and all they can see is a never ending abyss of darkness. A black hole . . . where the night never ends.

Goldust says that they have been awakened. Their positive message means nothing to them. He tells them that Darkness falls on the new Day.

Xavier gets on the mic and he says that what you don’t seem to understand and comprehend is the fact that darkness will not prevail and it will not hold them down. There is no force in the cosmos that will hold them back.

Kofi says the New Day is about unity, strength, intelligence, camaraderie, and trust. If you have a problem with that, they will take those latex wearing cosmic cowboys back where you came from.

Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring. He says he really enjoyed himself on Monday night. He enjoyed breaking Bray’s rocking chair. It looked like it was very important to Bray. Maybe Sister Abigail used to rock back and forth in it and read baby Bray some bedtime stories. Maybe Grandma used to sit on it on the porch and spit into her spittoon. Maybe he went to the local furniture store or Cracker Barrel to pick it up.

That chair was a symbol to Bray, but now it is a symbol to him because it is a symbol of what he is going to do to Bray at TLC. Bray thought he would pick Dean apart from the brain inside out, but it hasn’t worked that way. Just like what he did to the chair, he is going to do it to Bray piece by piece with ladders, tables, and chairs. The mind games are over.

Rusev comes out to the ring for their match and he is accompanied by Lana and his giant Russian flag.

Lana tells Dean that it is his lucky night because Rusev will not be competing tonight. You can thank your cowardly American Jack Swagger for that. We see footage from Raw of what Swagger did to Rusev. They will no longer be subject to American intimidation. You are full of cowards and opportunists.

She tells everyone to shut up. She calls everyone weak and that your existence is a disgrace.

Rusev tells Jack Swagger that he will stomp every bone in his body, just like that old man Zeb Colter. This United States Championship belongs to him. It belongs to Mother Russia.

Ambrose says that he tuned them out a long time ago. When Lana said Rusev would not wrestle tonight. Dean says he came here to fight, injury or not.

Dean goes up the ramp to meet Rusev and Bray Wyatt attacks Dean Ambrose from behind. Bray sends Dean into the ringside barrier and then he reaches under the ring and Ambrose gets up and he attacks Bray but Bray with a forearm to the back and then he sends Dean into the apron.
