Velveteen Dream is a talented superstar, but his demons have got in the way of stardom. The former WWE Superstar couldn’t hold back his details from entering the controversy world. He was found in possession of cocaine, and even found his name in sharing offensive details to minors over photo and audio. There was a time when #FireVelveteenDream trended on Social Media.
Velveteen had potential and the fans were behind him in NXT before he made waves for his controversial actions. In 2022, the case of trespassing and battery was closed against him. He still has a long way to go and according to Ringside News sharing BWE’s X post, the former NXT superstar is in rehab.
“Hearing Patrick ‘VDream’ doing therapy and rehab. I hope he comes back better and proceed with his life. Kid is talented.”
Notably, this isn’t the first time that we are seeing the former North American Champion in a controversy. While many have been vocal that he needs help, EC3 clearly stated that the WWE management knew that he had potential and that he can reach new levels in wrestling if he focused on the same.
Wrestling has changed over the years, and while Dream would have to learn a thing or two in case he returns to wrestling it looks like his problems are far from over. One would have to see how he deals with his situation and comes out of the vicious loop of problems that he has around himself.
