Cain Velasquez made his WWE debut on the first episode of Smackdown on FOX back in October of 2019. He confronted Brock Lesnar after Lesnar won the WWE Championship from Kofi Kingston in a squash match lasting only a few seconds. Cain last competed at Super ShowDown on 31 October 2019, where he was squashed by Brock Lesnar and failed to win the WWE Championship.

 


 
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Cain Velasquez is worth $4 million. Velasquez was born on June 28, 1982 in Salinas, California. Raised in Yuma, Arizona, Velasquez graduated from Kofa High School. During his educational days, he had a very impressive wrestling record of 110-10.

He joined Iowa Central Community College next. Velasquez won the NJCAA heavyweight wrestling championship there. He later transferred to Arizona State University and continued his wrestling career.

The NCAA Division 1 wrestler joined the American Kickboxing Academy next to start training for MMA. He made his competitive debut at a Strikeforce event in October 2006 against Jesse Fujarczyk, winning via first-round TKO.

He eventually joined the UFC in 2008 and went on to defeat Brock Lesnar for the UFC Heavyweight Championship as well. He is currently charged with attempted murder in relation to a shooting incident in San Jose, California and we will have to see what will become of him in the end.

In more shocking news concerning the former UFC Champion – Velasquez was arrested on charges related to an attempted murder charge that took place on Monday in Morgan Hill, California. One man was shot and taken to the hospital with non-fatal injuries. This incident took place on Monday at just around 3:14 PST.
According to the San Jose Police, Media Relations Twitter page, the former UFC Champion and WWE star was booked into the Santa Clara County main jail with the motive and circumstances around the occurrence still under investigation.
